Parus Hotel
The Parus Hotel is a 32-story unfinished modernist building in the city of Dnipro for 1000 people, the construction of which lasted from 1975 to 1989. At the beginning of this year, the building was transferred to the balance of the city government, after which the mayor of the city announced his intention to demolish it, calling it “a depressing symbol of the city.” Thus a building that should have been permanent but remained unfinished became permanent throughout its existence. Up to this point, The moment when it can be destroyed by rocket strikes by Russian troops due to illiteracy or by accident, or by the forces of the city authorities to clear the territory for the construction of a new shopping center. As part of the Biennial digitized version of the building overlooks the yet undestroyed architectural ensemble.
